Settled is delighted to welcome four additions to its trustee board.

As we move towards the 30 June deadline for the EU Settlement Scheme, Settled continues to grow and look to how we can most effectively help Europeans living in the UK post-Brexit.

Our new trustees bring a wide range of experience and knowledge that will ensure Settled can continue to be at the heart of the European community in the UK.

Marcela Benedetti
Marcela is a European-Latin-American mentor, campaigner and activist specialising in gender-based violence and migrant women’s rights.  Previously, she was a lawyer, a dance teacher, and worked on the frontline of domestic abuse services.  Marcela believes that the way forward, in life and work, is collaboration. She has experience creating and implementing innovative safe spaces for individuals and organisations.

Pierre-Antoine Boulat
Pierre-Antoine’s international asset management and banking services career took him and his family from France to UK in 1992, then the USA, Switzerland, Luxembourg and finally back to UK in time for Brexit.

Wiard Sterk
Wiard is based in Cardiff and is an Art Historian by training, with a career in commissioning creative public realm projects. Now semi-retired he balances a ‘portfolio’ of board positions and paid engagements, including until recently working as Information Manager for Settled. In between he spends time on his allotment and sails off-shore races.

Will Garford
Will is a qualified accountant and finance professional with experience in audit, local and international tax compliance and global mobility requirements in local and global companies and charities.

We’re here to help you with your Settled Status to remain in the UK. We have 100 volunteers on hand who can provide advice in all EU lanaguages.
