Volunteer with Settled:

Settled relies on our huge team of volunteers spread across the UK. We currently have more than 120 volunteers, working across more than 23 EU languages.

Our volunteers help some of the most vulnerable EU citizens secure their rights in the UK post-Brexit.

Settled offers you the ability to volunteer to support vulnerable or hard-to-reach EU citizens in your community with their Settled Status application. You will guide, inform, and assist EU citizens and their family members with the EU Settlement Scheme and their rights after Brexit.

We will train you on the EU Settlement Scheme, protect you with our Indemnity Insurance and give you all the tools to make a difference in your community. You will gain new skills, such as an OISC Level 1 for the EU Settlement Scheme registration.

To be able to assist EU citizens and their families with more complex issues surrounding their applications to the EU Settlement Scheme, we also require the help of volunteers with a legal immigration background and experienced immigration advisers to join our casework team.

If you would like to volunteer with us, please:
Read through our volunteer information pack or download the application form.

Email the completed application form to [email protected]

We are particularly keen to hear from people who can help us fill specific gaps in our volunteer team. Currently our top priorities are to find volunteers who meet one of the following requirements:

  • Romanian speakers
  • Immigration advisers registered at OISC Level 2 or with equivalent qualifications
  • Located in Wales
  • Located in rural areas across the UK
  • Located in the East of England
  • Located in South Yorkshire

Fundraise:

Settled needs your help to sustain its charitable activities.

It is easy to donate to Settled

There are lots of ways to fundraise to support Settled, for example:

Organise a community event: Musical performances or table-top sales of cakes, books, clothing and bric a brac are an easy and sociable way to raise funds.

Sign up for a sponsored challenge: Walking, running, cycling and other races encourage participants to raise funds for their chosen charity.

Corporate giving: Speak to your employer about schemes which they run to fundraise for charities and nominate Settled.
