Settled is setting up a new service in response to a growing number of requests for advice and support from EU citizens settled in the UK who have family members from Ukraine.

Having received a small grant we have a vacancy for a part-time position for 6 months and we are actively fundraising to expand this resource.

We are looking for an experienced adviser who speaks Ukrainian and is registered with OISC to give immigration advice at least at OISC Level 1 EUSS and preferably at a higher level.

Those wishing to gain advice from Settled on bringing family members to the UK from Ukraine can already seek our advice by emailing [email protected].

More details are in the Job Description which includes the person specification and can be seen at the bottom of this page.

To apply, email [email protected] with a CV and a covering letter which explains your suitability, putting UKRAINE VACANCY in the subject line of the email. We will be looking at applications on a rolling basis as they arrive in order to fill the vacancy as soon as possible, so we encourage interested candidates to apply quickly.

Changes to pre-settled rules

The Home Office announced some changes to EUSS pre-settled status rules on 21st May.

Please do not contact Settled to ask about these changes until we are clearer, as otherwise our service may become overwhelmed.

It is important that we can continue to respond effectively to beneficiaries in need of urgent casework advice and support.
We are waiting for more detail, and will update our website information, Facebook forums, and leaflets as soon as possible. Many thanks for your patience and understanding.

The Home Office announcement is here.

We’re here to help you with your Settled Status to remain in the UK. We have 100 volunteers on hand who can provide advice in all EU lanaguages.
