Settled has informed and assisted over 5000 EU citizens and their family members to make sure they can stay in the UK after Brexit.
Settled offers you the ability to volunteer to support vulnerable or hard-to-reach EU citizens in your community with their Settled Status application.
We call our volunteers ‘Settled Status Angels’, as they outreach to as many EU citizens as possible who may struggle with their applications to Settled Status.
We are always looking for volunteers with understanding of the EU Settlement Scheme and with excellent links within their EU communities. As a Settled Status Angel, you will guide, inform, and assist EU citizens and their family members with the EU Settlement Scheme and their rights after Brexit.
We will train you on the EU Settlement Scheme, protect you with our Indemnity Insurance and give you all the tools to make a difference in your community. You will gain new skills, such as an OISC Level 1 for the EU Settlement Scheme registration.
Settled Status Angels are vital to make sure no one is left behind without an immigration status after Brexit.
You can also help us in other areas such as social media, marketing, communications, media and fundraising.
If you would like to volunteer with us, please:
- read through our volunteer information pack
- download the application form
- email the completed application form to firstname.lastname@example.org
We are particularly keen to hear from people who can help us fill specific gaps in our volunteer team. Currently our top priorities are to find volunteers who meet one of the following requirements:
- Romanian speakers
- Immigration advisers registered at OISC Level 2 or with equivalent qualifications
- Located in Wales
We are also currently recruiting for trustees to join our supportive trustee board. If you are interested in becoming a trustee of Settled, please read this advert and recruitment pack. Please note that the deadline for trustee applications of 5th January no longer replies – the new deadline is 15th February.
