Post-Brexit Rights in Monmouthshire: What you need to know

25 May @ 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM

Free

Do you provide services to EU/EEA people living in Monmouthshire?

Monmouthshire is home to EU/EAA citizens, and their families. We want them to continue living and working in the city following the UK’s exit from the European Union, and exercise their rights and entitlements to do so. It is essential that service providers are aware of some of the changes to immigration legislation in order to effectively support people, and to avoid any risk of unlawful discrimination.

This short session will include experts from Newfields Law, TGP Cymru, Mind, Citizens Advice and Settled which will equip you with the understanding you need to continue providing services effectively and fairly to EU/EAA citizens. We particularly encourage people working in primary care, housing, customer services and HR professionals/employment agencies to attend.

Ydych chi’n darparu gwasanaethau i bobl o’r UE/AEE sy’n byw yn Sir Fynwy?

Mae Sir Fynwy yn gartref i ddinasyddion yr UE/EAA, a’u teuluoedd. Rydym am iddynt barhau i fyw a gweithio yn y ddinas ar ôl i’r DU adael yr Undeb Ewropeaidd, ac arfer eu hawliau i wneud hynny. Mae’n hanfodol bod darparwyr gwasanaethau yn ymwybodol o rai o’r newidiadau i ddeddfwriaeth mewnfudo er mwyn cefnogi pobl yn effeithiol, ac osgoi unrhyw risg o wahaniaethu anghyfreithlon.

Bydd y sesiwn fer hon yn cynnwys arbenigwyr o Newfields Law, TGP Cymru, Mind, Cyngor ar Bopeth a Settled a fydd yn eich arfogi â’r ddealltwriaeth sydd ei hangen arnoch i barhau i ddarparu gwasanaethau’n effeithiol ac yn deg i ddinasyddion yr UE/EAA. Rydym yn annog pobl sy’n gweithio ym maes gofal sylfaenol, tai, gwasanaethau cwsmeriaid a gweithwyr adnoddau dynol proffesiynol/asiantaethau cyflogaeth i fod yn bresennol.
